Core barrels d=89-146 mm

The core barrel of "Geomash" production is produced in accordance with GOST 6238-77 groups of durability "D" with wall thickness of 5 mm and in accordance with GOST 1050 of steel 45. The core barrel is applied for sampling of soil (core) at rotary core drilling "dry" / with washing / with airflush.

Diameters of core barrels are d=89, 108, 127, 146, 168 mm from 1000 mm to 6000 mm long. Core barrels connect by means of the nipples having an external thread on both ends. The thread type on barrels of "Geomash" production conform to GOST 6238-77.

The core barrel is used for drilling engineering geological and exploration wells in grounds of the IV-XII category on drilling capacity.

Ring destruction of a downhole happens during core drilling, drill cuttings comes to the core barrel. Destruction of a downhole is conducted with hard-alloy crowns of CM,CA. Air from the compressor or water are used for extraction of ground from the core barrel. Special core implement SKS is used for simplification of the monolith extraction process from core barrels. Geomash offers the following standard sizes of SKS: SKS-108, SKS-127, SKS-146.

The implement SKS is intended for sampling of disturbed structure ground according to GOST 12071-2000 during geotechnical investigation for construction in the rotary way without washing or airflush with use of hard-alloy crowns with following mechanized extraction of soil samples from a core barrel. The SKS is applied on machines with a floating spindle provided that a carriage stroke of the floating spindle not less than 3000 mm. The implement SKS is widely used on Geomash drilling rigs: UGB, PBU-2, LBU-50.
